Jean Quinn, Executive Director of UNANIMA International, and Liana Almony, Executive Assistant and Assistant UN Representative are currently in Nairobi participating in the United Nations Civil Society Conference.
The UN Civil Society Conference is focused on the theme, the ‘Summit of the Future’. The Conference outcomes will serve as a contribution for Member States as they work towards the Pact for the Future.
The Summit for the Future, which will convene in September 2024, will adopt ‘A Pact for the Future’ – a concise, action-oriented outcome document, to be agreed in advance by consensus through intergovernmental negotiations.
