Homelessness/ Displacement and Trauma is an issue that must be addressed as it is integral in achieving the 2030 agenda. Significant to both the Global North and the Global South, progress in achieving the eradication of these underpin and can hinder the success and achievement of all the Sustainable Development Goals. As advocates for Refugees and Migrants, UNANIMA International is committed to ensuring everyone has the ability to obtain all their rights and live in a safe welcoming environment. Protection of the environment is inherent to the lives and wellbeing of all humans and living creatures. Unfortunately our environment is suffering due to climate change, global warming, pollution etc. As advocates for the Environment, UNANIMA International is committed to ensuring the environment, its ecosystems and all its inhabitants are respected, cared for and protected from vulnerabilities globally. We advocate for the protection of the environment, specifically though advocacy on Climate Change, water and individuals and Families most severely affected by it. Human Trafficking, the action or practice of illegally transporting people from one country or area to another, typically for the purposes of forced labor or sexual exploitation is a global issue. UNANIMA International has been a long term advocate for the eradication of Human Trafficking. Here are a number of resources related to the Eradication of Human Trafficking.

Human Rights & the SDGs Infographic

UNANIMA International is a founding member of JCoR and are glad to share the coalitions resources. The primary aim of this collaboration and these resources is to strengthen the capacity of our members to address the root causes of unsustainable development through our common mission: to improve the quality improve quality of life for people living in poverty, and enhance our stewardship of the natural environment. We work toward this goal by coordinating national, regional, and global efforts of Religious to call on local and national leaders for a just, equitable, and rights-based implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the UN’s Agenda for 2015-2030.
